Veterans Disability Attorney

Increasing numbers of disabled military personnel are discovering that a veterans disability attorney is critical for the success of an application for benefits. While the Department of Veterans Affairs has an application for benefits available online on its website, it’s really much smarter to hire an attorney to assist in filling out the application and submitting it. The application asks for many different kinds of proof of disability. In order to make sure just the right type of proof is obtained, an attorney is necessary. Otherwise, it is too easy to get confused by the often vague and contradictory requirements as spelled out on the application.

A Veterans Disability Attorney Helps With Appeals

There are approximately 3.7 million disabled veterans who are currently receiving benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. However, many of these people didn’t get their benefits approved upon their first application. Many of them had to appeal an initial denial. Still others had to take a case all the way to the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (USCAVC). The USCAVC exists solely to listen to cases of denied appeals, and acts as a court of last resort for those who are seeking benefits. In any of these cases, the use of an attorney greatly increases the chances that a claim or an appeal will be a success.

I have been looking for a lawyer on a multiple disability claim at the Veterans Affairs in White River Junction, Vermont. I have had a hard time finding anyone that will handle the case.
My claim is a clear cut claim where the evaluation doctor gives a 100% rating but the adjudication changes what their own doctors rate the claim.
I have gone so far as to file a discrimination charge against the VA for lies and unethical practices.
